“Big Poppa Shim”, Tejo Bar, Alfama, Lisbon, ‘24.

Last evening of my Lisbon art stay I went to the amazing “Tejo Bar” in Alfama. A dear friend of mine Matias Insaurralde‍‍ who is amazing musician and a fan of my art, for which I am so happy, told me about it. It was experience like no other! The jazz jam comprising of local music legends was incredible. The crowd was incredible. The bar is a tiny space tucked away in Alfama, a neighborhood of Lisbon famous for its’ Fado Bars and beautiful old architecture. A place I definitely will visit again for longer.
At Tejo Bar they don’t clap after the performance, but rub hands. Also photos and video are strictly forbidden, so I was extremely thankful and lucky to be allowed to sketch. ❤️❤️❤️🎨🎵
