1. Me sketching and putting captions on my sketches.

The reason why I sketch from life na sketch live is because this is how I obtain my visual material for creating artworks further such as paintings on canvas; murals, sculptures; designs and etc. My sketches usually are prototypes for my further art.

To create my sketches I use 50% of reality and 50% of imagination, therefore my sketches are visual interpretations of what I see and the way I capture it. I have my distinctive style developed over the 27 years of professional consistent practice and my own artistic vision, which is capturing movement, energy, vibe, abstract rhythms, character and feel.

My sketches depicting existing places and people is just a consequence of the way I obtain my visual material. It is not the main target. I am not a documentalist or reporter.

Therefore, when I sketch places; events; musicians/ people and add captions on the bottom of my sketches this is not with the idea to profit from the fame of these places, events and musicians/ people, it is to give my respect to what I sketched ( I always say good words in my descriptions and try my best to tag and mention everyone I depicted on my internet platforms and outside of them) and also to have it as my own memo note of what I sketched. Because after time I forget, due to the fact that I am highly productive in creating sketches, as usually this is the nature of sketch art on first place.

Many people like my sketches, so they commission me or buy the ones I created freely. Some will buy them, because they see beyond the resemblance of places, events and people I sketched and some will buy/ commission them, because they are on the sketch, or been to the event or place, or want to be depicted and/ or their event to be depicted.

2. Disputes.

Firstly, please, understand thatI am self employed independent artist without any art gallery or art entity behind my back, so I do everything by myself.

If there is an issue with my sketches/ artworks caption and or depiction due to the fact that I never asked for permission the specific people/ events, or places for sketching them, please just kindly contact me and we can clear this on a friendly and kind way.

I can always remove the bottom front caption off my sketch/ es and add it on the back of it/ them, just for my own record and/or for the record of whoever buys it/ them and I will rename on the front bottom the sketch, where the old caption was and on my website; Instagram, Youtube or wherever I exhibit it/ them with alternative name.

I do reserve the right to be able to keep, display, sell, reproduce and use as prototypes for my further art the sketch/es and the artwork/s for the reasons I mentioned in point 1.- that my art is a unique artistic interpretation as I am not merely documenting and depicting 100% what I see.

I also sketch public events and whatever is in the public, which is not forbidden not to depict. If there is a clear rule that certain event/s; venue/s; musician/s/ people can not be depicted, for example with photo cameras and videos, without explicit permission, I will always ask if It is allowed to depict with live/ life sketches and just maybe (if not it is not an issue) make one or two photos with the sketch/ es and the event/s; place/s and/ or musician/s/ people on background where the sketch/es will be the main subject.

The same applies for my live/ life paintings on canvas, although the caption there is always on the back, so this should not be an issue, similar to the life/ live sketch/es. I can always display my live painted canvas/ es with alternative name/ s for my Internet platforms and show participations, as I mentioned above, but the caption on the back stays, serving as a memory note of what I depicted.

Alternatively, we also can spontaneously collaborate on the basis of my created life/ live sketch/es; painting/s and share profit. This means we all promote the artwork/s in order to sell it and could also make Merch and etc. I am open for ideas and more than happy to share mine. This will be signed with contract and all sides should benefit equally from the collaboration.

All this also applies for when I life/ live sketch from videos and photos from the Internet or elsewhere.

I sometimes use videos and photos whether created from me or not (obtained with permission), to finish up details on my sketche/ s/ painting/ s.

I also use my own created videos and photos mainly and sometimes obtained with permission from others or free copyright found in the Internet of what I sketched and publish them as edited shorts or longer videos on my Internet platforms with the purpose to show the process behind me creating my art. This also falls under my text here as I use the same way of depiction which is interpretation with my own unique artistic style and vision/ concept.

I always mention and tag anybody involved in giving me any visual material for my videos and photo albums which serve as depiction of the process of me creating my art.

3. Art Collaborations

I am open for ideas and also more than happy to share mine with you! Just get in touch, so we can start the conversation!

Every agreement will require a contract to be signed before the artistic collaboration starts and it should benefit all sides participating.

4. Digital Files.

The digital files I sell and offer as commission are only for personal use, contract will be due to be signed for a file. If you’d like it/ them to be for commercial use of any type, we should negotiate with contract again and share profit. I am open for ideas on this matter.

5. Copyright infringement of my art.

Nobody is allowed to copy my artwork or put it in AI generators to produce similar art. When I find out, I will take legal actions.

My style is very distinct and this applies to my artistic concept and way of working. People can get inspired from this and pursue their own art, but nobody is allowed to merely walk after my steps and copy me. What is the point of having two identical artists anyway…
